Drew Leonard, Director of Product Marketing, Switch & Data

Drew Leonard has been associated with peering and the Internet Exchange industry since 2000 and the Telecommunications industry since 1995. He was introduced to the Internet peering world after joining PAIX in 2001 as Director of Marketing, following a five-year stint in Consumer Sales and Consumer Marketing at SBC. In 2003 Mr. Leonard assumed the position of Director of Marketing for Switch and Data.

Mr. Leonard has advocated the value of data, and more recently, voice peering for Switch and Data. Since moving over to the position of Director of Product Marketing, his team has launched the PAIX VoIP Exchange in New York and has successfully grown a VoIP ecosystem across Switch and Data’s footprint.

Drew Leonard holds a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
