Expo Keynote Tuesday, June 12, 2007, 10:15 - 10:45 This session will present a number of cases from around the globe. The triggers and drivers for transformation, as well as the strategic and architectural principles will be discussed. It will be shown that IMS/TiSPAN can act as solid reference framework for all transformation projects. A number of key applications contributing to the business transformation will be presented, as well as to how these link into the transformation of the (IP) network. Last, it will be discussed how the specific nature of large-scale transformation projects, has delivered new insights into the governance of transformation projects.

After completing engineering studies, Edmond joined Alcatel in 1983 and held a range of positions in training, marketing and strategy, covering the complete Alcatel offering. Over the past 7 years, he was involved in worldwide solution and strategy roles focused on NGN/IMS. During this time, Edmond has built up a unique view of IMS drivers and actions taken around the world. With the creation of Alcatel-Lucent end 2006, he moved to business development in IMS applications. Edmond has been travelling the globe for numerous customer projects giving him unique insights in customer dynamics; helping turn their IMS dreams into reality.
