The opportunities for IMS to prove itself with Alistair Woodman of Cisco suggesting the IMS may prove more valuable in the management of trunk side and line side services. Mobile Video was explored by speakers from Alcatel-Lucent, Radivision, Streamezzo and Thomson.

Peering was discussed from the perspective of Carriers, Enterprises and End Users with the most successful break out. Eli Katz from Xconnect who had led the discussion at the peering pre-conference, showed the peering pyramid and where most of the carrier market today. Fabiano Chies from SITA showed his federated network on behalf of the entire Airline Transport Industry. Henry Sinnreich, Alan Johnston, and Cullen Jennings lead the discussion of where peer to peer SIP was going and when we could expect standards.
