| Following the theme of mobility as an enabling trend, Chris Fine from Goldman Sachs spoke to the community and he called attention to the need for Enterprise Class consumer products. His presentation showed that Voice 2.0 was penetrating the enterprise applications with integration of existing consumer devices. Tony Bates of Cisco stayed on this theme that networks needed to support quality of service solutions that delivered applications as required. On the show floor and in the panels these themes continued and the creativity of communications was everywhere evident. With more carrier speakers represented in the panel than ever before at VON, the sessions were full of the insight that real experience brings. |
