DNS Chooses CloudShield Security for Online Services

12/16/2008

Dynamic Network Services has gotten itself a security blanket. DNS, which provides Internet-based domain, zone and e-mail services has chosen CloudShield Technologies’s CS-2000 network services platform to protect its infrastructure.

The idea is to ensure DNS’ online presence in the face of denial of service or botnet attacks. Rather than go the costly over-provisioning route to cope with the 10- to 500-fold increase in traffic such attacks cause, DNS can use the CS-2000 to sort the good packets from the bad packets.
