Cisco Respondents Look to Routing, VoIP for Real-Time Interactions

A recent poll by Cisco Systems Inc. of attendees at its annual user conference indicates that routing and VoIP are the most important technologies enabling real-time interactions with customers.

Respondents rated VoIP the top technology for facilitating real-time interactions among service providers, commercial customers and the partner community, with routing following as a second choice. For enterprises, routing was considered the most important technology for real-time interactions.

Many respondents said they rely on IP-connected PDAs to facilitate their real-time communications.
