Clearwire Corp. (CLWR) ads in the Chicago Tribune on Jan. 1 have fueled speculation that the service provider would soon launch WiMAX service there.
But according to a story on Light Reading, Clearwire remains tight-lipped as to just when it expects to go live with commercial service in Chicago, indicating its board is still discussing the schedule.
However, Clearwire is expected to launch Portland, Ore., this week.
