Codima, a provider of integrated network management products, has announced that is starting operations in Ireland. Headed by industry veteran Paul Glynn, founder of Crannog, Codima will offer full support to its growing Irish customer base including system integrators and service providers.

Codima already has operations throughout Europe, including Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg), Denmark, France, DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), Sweden and the U.K. Following its Latin American expansion this fall, Codima has established 11 local offices worldwide in the last year, covering key markets in over 40 countries.

“Despite globalization, local presence is still key to successful operations in the software industry. Our customers, resellers and corporate partners meet local Codima teams with local knowledge to help them run today’s complex IT networks cost effectively. We have had positive response from the European markets following our roll out, assuring us that our ability to act locally drives business,” said Christer Mattsson, Codima’s CEO.

The Irish market is a European hub for many international companies. Codima says it offers a flexible licensing model, providing system integrators and service providers with new ways to generate revenue streams.

A Microsoft Certified Partner, the company’s solution uses Microsoft Office Visio to bring visibility to entire networks and network problems. These are useful functions to any IT Professional, for example, when preparing for VoIP installations and when securing documentation for network auditing and legal requirements.

Codima Toolbox automatically discovers what software and hardware are installed on any network, visualizes the information directly using a Microsoft Office Visio, then monitors and displays network problems. Furthermore, the integrated products determine if a VoIP system can be installed, and once the VoIP network is in operation the products monitor call quality and troubleshoot in real time.
