Vertical Certifies Quintum Gateways With its IP PBX

Vertical Communications, a provider of IP phone systems and applications for businesses, on Monday announced a strategic partnership with Quintum Technologies Inc., a VoIP gateway company.

Vertical has certified the Quintum SIP Tenor VoIP MultiPath switches and gateways for use with its TeleVantage IP PBX, providing customers with dual communications features and functions so they do not have to immediately upgrade to a pure IP environment.

“The combined solution helps customers fulfill the promise of IP by making the telephony system part of the network, thereby leveraging existing data and voice applications to enhance customer service, deliver new capabilities and maximize revenue,” said Charles Rutledge, vice president of marketing for Quintum Technologies. “At the same time, it allows customers to continue to use their legacy phones and services in an IP setting.”
