Fonality Systems Now Interoperable With Cbeyond Service

IP PBX maker Fonality said today its PBXtra line now is fully interoperable with Cbeyond Communications’ BeyondVoice with SIPconnect service.

The companies said the interoperability means better voice quality for users.

"Cbeyond is pleased to enhance the deployment of Fonality IP PBXs with our BeyondVoice with SIPconnect integrated bundles,” said Chris Gatch, CTO of Cbeyond. “By combining Fonality and Cbeyond, small and medium businesses can enjoy the same IP PBX and VoIP capabilities typically available only to larger enterprises.”

PBXtra's features include telecommuting, branch office support, voice mail-to-e-mail, click-to-call, VoIP, softphones, and support for IP and analog phones. The phone system can be installed and administered remotely using a Web browser.
