Mesa Networks Buys Clear Reach Networks

09/27/2007

Mesa Networks, a wireless Internet service provider in Colorado, said it has acquired the hosted voice customers of Clear Reach Networks in a deal worth approximately $400,000.

The customers purchased by Mesa Networks are mostly SMBs in Denver that have made the switch from analog voice to digital.

Denver-based Clear Reach will continue to do business under the name Dash Carrier Services and will be focused entirely on wholesale products. Last year, Clear Reach acquired Dash911, a national provider of E911 for VoIP that is now able to offer a full suite of wholesale services to voice carriers. Dash Carrier Services will provide services to Mesa Networks to support its new, hosted voice business as part of the deal.

Dash Carrier Services recorded nearly $700,000 in sales in 2006 and the company expects revenue to exceed $3 million this year.

Dash Carrier Services’ current services include origination and termination for VoIP carriers (DashConnect), E911 (Dash911), plus directory assistance, caller ID and directory listings (DashInfo).
