Avaya, DiVitas Join Forces on Mobile UC

Avaya Inc. has integrated DiVitas Networks dual-mode client with the Avaya Communications Manager and Avaya Modular Messaging to provide mobile unified communications across Wi-Fi and cellular networks. a dual-mode solution for mobile employees to move seamlessly between campus-based wireless networks and cellular networks.

DiVitas’ client is available on Symbian or Windows Mobile dual-mode handsets, and acts as the interface to send and receive calls through Avaya's communications system.

The partnership offers users features like find-me/follow-me, presence, access to corporate directories, and visual voicemail. Messages are accessible any time, anywhere from a wide array of access devices including telephones, fax machines or the PC. Native Avaya voicemail can now be managed by the DiVitas client as well.
