The mobile search wars continue to be tighter than the Democratic presidential primary as Google Inc. and Yahoo! have nabbed new deals for mobility, announced Tuesday at Mobile World Congress.

No. 1 worldwide handset manufacturer Nokia said it will incorporate Google into its own search application, which also provides native access to Yahoo! and Windows Live. The app will first launch on the four new handset models Nokia announced on Monday, in selected markets.

Nokia has been offering Google incorporated into its Internet tablets.

Yahoo! Inc. had some news of its own with the announcement that it will take over as preferred provider of Internet apps for T-Mobile in northern and central Europe, displacing Google.

The deal will give Yahoo! visibility to 90 million more phone customers, making Yahoo!s total covered subscriber base more than half a billion people.

The agreement will take effect at the end of March, when T-Mobile´s previous deal with Google expires.
