i.TV Adds Comcast, U-Verse Listings Plus “Shakable” Ad

The new release of i.TV (eye-dot-TV) for the Apple Inc. iPhone and iPod touch now gives users instant access to Comcast VoD listings, AT&T U-verse listings and the world’s first “shakable” ad.

Okey dokey. The first two items are self explanatory, but what about that last item? Here’s the 411: Dockers has initiated a “Shake-down 2 Get Down” campaign featuring Dufon, from the dance group “Circle of Fire.” When you see the ad pop up on your iPhone or iPod touch, just shake your device to make Dufon dance!

Oh, and i.TV is now twice as fast -- startup time has been cut in half. Users are able to jump between TV, DVD and movie listings, as well as dates and times, with near instant data retrieval.

i.TV users have access to up-to-date, local TV and movie listings, as well as a catalog of more than 100,000 DVD titles. i.TV is also an interactive community where users can write reviews, rate their favorite shows, and recommend shows to friends via an e-mail alert. i.TV users are also able to view movie trailers and television previews, purchase movie tickets, rent DVDs, manage their Netflix queue, and remotely record their favorite shows to a TiVo DVR.
