Mobile World Congress: Acme Packet Talks SBCs for LTE

People and companies hop on bandwagons for a reason, right? So, count Acme Packet’s (APKT) as one of the, er, hoppers, in the much-discussed LTE movement as it showcases its session border controller for wireless Long-Term Evolution networks at Mobile World Congress.

Acme Packet, which specializes in IMS architecture, sees LTE as the next big application for its equipment. This week it’s talking to trade show visitors in Spain about how session border controllers work with LTE and IP networks.
