Ribbit Leaps to SimpleSignal for Hosted VoIP Solutions

11/03/2008

SimpleSignal will add the Ribbit for Salesforce CRM application to its portfolio of carrier-grade hosted VoIP solutions. The announcement of the partnership was made at Dreamforce ’08, salesforce.com’s user and developer conference.

Ribbit says its voice-to-text capabilities and innovative features increase productivity throughout the sales process. Ribbit for Salesforce CRM is built on the company’s open-voice integration platform to power a new generation of voice applications and services for businesses and consumers.

SimpleSignal delivers solutions that combine voice with business applications to small and medium businesses (SMBs).

"SimpleSignal is the ideal service provider partner for us. They offer innovative Voice 2.0 services that improve the productivity of SMBs, and we're excited to have them as a channel partner," said Greg Goldfarb, general manager of enterprise applications at Ribbit.

Under the partnership, Ribbit and SimpleSignal will make Ribbit's open voice integration platform interoperable with SimpleSignal's BroadWorks-based VoIP application platform. Ribbit for Salesforce CRM will be the first of several SimpleSignal services to leverage Ribbit's voice platform.

"By combining our fixed-mobile convergence capabilities with Ribbit for Salesforce CRM, our customers will have access to a powerful productivity tool that can be used from any location ─ at home, in the office and on the road," said Dave Gilbert, president of SimpleSignal. "Ribbit and SimpleSignal share the vision that combining voice with critical business applications creates potent new solutions that will help SMBs succeed."
