Unimax Launches Unified Voice Administration

10/15/2008

Unimax Systems Corp. is unveiling its new Web site that will launch the company’s Unified Voice Administration capabilities. It’s supposed to help big businesses and managed service providers understand the benefits of unifying voice administration as part of their telecommunications strategy.

Unimax is a provider of telecommunications configuration management software.

"Enterprise voice systems typically include equipment and software from multiple vendors. These systems are administered by people from both the telecommunications and IT departments using numerous software tools and interfaces. These multi-vendor systems can become extremely complex and expensive to manage," said CEO Phil Moen. "While unified communications has been the topic of many conversations, we have found Unified Voice Administration to be equally important. Our technology enables telecommunications and IT departments to administer MACs, password resets, automated provisioning, voice mail list management, auditing, reporting, and other functions from a single, unified interface."

"Mergers, acquisitions, and best of breed strategies will always be part of the business environment. Because of this, large enterprises and managed service providers are forced to contend with the administration headaches of managing multi-vendor voice systems," said director of marketing Todd Remely. "This complexity is magnified when companies move from TDM networks to IP based systems. There is a strong desire to simplify the administration of these complex systems as part of an overall unified communications strategy. We have launched our Unified Voice Administration capabilities to answer the call. Our new website defines Unified Voice Administration and enables visitors to download white papers and other educational resources."

In addition to explaining how companies can simplify the management of their multivendor voice systems, the new Web site discusses the benefits of Unified Voice Administration. Unimax says companies that implement Unified Voice Administration technology are able to realize a strong return on their investment with significant reductions in operating costs, stronger security, increased visibility and control, and improved internal customer service.
