VOICECON: Nortel, IBM Beef Up UC Efforts

Nortel Networks Corp. (NT) and IBM Corp. (IBM) said today at VoiceCon they plan to integrate Agile Communication Environment with IBM Lotus Sametime Unified Telephony.

The joint effort means the companies can help enterprise customers enable their business applications.

Nortel and IBM have been working on unified communications together since mid-2007.
