Milestone: XO Hits 15,000 VoIP Business Customers

There’s reason to celebrate at XO Communications. The company has just marked its 15,000th business customer for XO IP Flex, its VoIP services bundle.

IP Flex was launch in 2005. XO claims it’s become one of the most widely deployed VoIP service bundles for all SMBs and distributed enterprises across a wide range of industries. It supports more than 475,000 customer employees.

The company says XO IP Flex offers businesses all the benefits of IP for voice, Internet access and Web hosting with enhanced features, functionality and value for one flat monthly price without having to replace their existing phone systems.

XO Communications has enhanced XO IP Flex with new features including higher-bandwidth options, integration with XO's MPLS IP-VPN service, adding Unified Communications capabilities with XO Anywhere, and offering the industry's first simplified, bandwidth-based pricing for converged IP services.
