Phonetag Hosts VoIP for Small Businesses

Phonetag LLC has launched PHONETAG Small Business, a hosted VoIP service for small and home-based companies with up to 20 users. The service offers a range of basic features, including free on-net calling, unlimited local and long-distance, call waiting, caller ID, call forwarding, call hold, three-way calling, speed dial, voice mail and call return.

The service is compatible with most broadband access technologies including DSL, cable, LAN and wireless, and also synchronizes with Microsoft Corp.’s Outlook.

Phonetag is offering PHONETAG Small Business for an introductory price of $49.95 per month, which includes the basic features and a VoIP phone. The company says activation charges according to the number of users, and other features such as e-mail, account codes, alternate number/distinctive ring, priority alert and conference calling are available for an additional per-feature fee.
