Motorola Adds to Cable Modem Product Line

Motorola Inc. has expanded its line of voice-enabled cable modems with the SBV5100 series. The new models are based on SIP, so operators can offer fixed-mobile convergence, interactive video sessions, secure signaling and encryption, and more.

The Motorola SBV5100 series is expected to be available by the end of 2006.
