Citel Broadens Digital Phone Interfaces

Citel Technologies Ltd., which makes interface software and hardware (called handset gateways) to connect legacy digital phones to IP PBXs, has demonstrated two additions to its product line, Citellink IP Handset Gateways. The two additions are an interface for Nortel Networks Inc.'s Meridian 1 telephones and another for generic analog telephones. Users of Nortel and analog telephone customers can continue to use existing phones when changing to an IP PBX.
